The Circle City celebrates St. Patrick’s Day by turning the canal green

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 16th, 2015) – For the 19th straight year, the Hoosier Lottery helped the Circle City celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by turning the canal green.

Governor Pence, Mayor Ballard, and other Indiana dignitaries poured green dye into the canal and just a few moments later the fountain spewing green water.

St. Patrick’s Day fun will continue through tomorrow with the 35th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade starting at 11:30 a.m. Check out Fox59 and CBS4 anchors and reporters on our float as well as high school bands, floats, catholic schools, Irish dancers, bag pipe & drum bands, Irish organizations and dignitaries.
