INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Sept. 4, 2015)– Police say a woman was fatally struck by a car Friday night on the near northwest side.

The accident occurred in the 3400 block of Cold Spring Road, near Marian University just after 7 p.m. The woman was walking northbound when a car traveling in the same direction came up on the sidewalk and struck her, and then struck another car.

The victim was transported to Methodist Hospital, where she later died.

The drivers were not injured. At this time, police do not believe alcohol was a factor.
