Woman killed in Avon crash

AVON, Ind. (April 7, 2016) – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Avon Wednesday.

Avon police responded to the crash at the intersection of Ronald Reagan Parkway and County Road 100 South around 8:25 p.m.

Police say a preliminary investigation indicates that Iqpal Kandhola, 19, was driving southbound on Ronald Reagan when he collided into Lisa Strueh, 26.

Strueh was transported to Methodist Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

Kandhola and a passenger of his were treated for minor injuries and released.

The accident remains under investigation.
