Wrecker stops at Greenwood hotel to load up, steal Jeep

GREENWOOD (November 19, 2013) – Greenwood police need help identifying a wrecker involved in an October car theft.

According to the Greenwood Police Department, surveillance cameras captured images of the truck on Oct. 11, when it went to InTown Suites on 887 E. Main St. and loaded a red 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee without authorization and left. It happened around 1:15 p.m.

Video shows the wrecker is blue with gray or silver stripes on the hood and an oval design on the doors.
