INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – At least one sports book begs to argue with Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay. According to Bovada, the Colts are the team to beat in the AFC South.

In a list that considers the projected over/under win totals for the 2016 season, Bovada has installed Irsay’s Colts the slight divisional favorite. It puts their over/under at 91Ž2 wins, ahead of Houston (81Ž2), Jacksonville (71Ž2) and Tennessee (51Ž2).

During last month’s NFL Draft, Irsay was asked if his Colts should be considered the favorites in the AFC South. They are coming off an 8-8 season that saw them fail to reach the playoffs for the first time since 2011. Houston won the division title with a 9-7 record.

“I can’t call us the team to beat in the division because Houston won the division,’’ Irsay said. “They’re the team to beat. You have to give them that respect.

“Look, we have a lot to prove.’’

Bovada apparently believes the return of Andrew Luck tips the divisional scales in favor of Indy. He missed nine games last season with a variety of injuries.

The divisional odds are in line with Bovada’s Super Bowl projection.

It lists the Colts at 22/1 to win Super Bowl LI in Houston Feb. 5. That’s tied for the ninth-best odds along with Dallas and Minnesota. Houston is 33/1, Jacksonville 66/1 and Tennessee 100/1.

New England is the early favorite at 7/1, followed by Green Bay and Pittsburgh at 10/1.
