CHICAGO – The Chicago Cubs clinched the National League Central Thursday night, punching their ticket to the postseason.

Even though the Cubbies fell to the Brewers at Wrigley Field, they won the division outright when the St. Louis Cardinals lost to the San Francisco Giants.

To get fans excited for the team’s first division title since 2008, the Cubs released a 30-second promotional video urging fans to “Fly the W.”

The video shows fans hoisting the flag as a dramatic voiceover intones, “It’s the fabric that brings an entire nation together. It says to the world, we will never lose faith. We believe in this team.”

And who’s doing the narration?

It’s Kyle Schwarber, who suffered a season-ending injury back in April but remains with the team.

He leaves fans with this: “Maybe this October, if we fly it high enough and loud enough and proud enough. Well, you get the idea.”
