LONDON, England-- Fans attending the Colts game in London on Sunday aren't the only ones getting a taste of NFL action this weekend.

More than 100 local children from various London communities learned football fundamentals from Super Bowl-winning former Colts Gary Brackett and Dallas Clark. Colts mascot Blue on hand for the fun too!

“What’s amazing is we are in London alright so, the impact I think I’m seeing firsthand is that this game has on these kids and we’re on the other side of the world practically and these kids, to see how much they know about the game and see them play the game and do these drills we did as kids it’s humbling. To see them running around smiling having fun, it’s a great event to be a part of,” said Clark.

This Play 60 event at Trailfinders Sports Club is an indication of the greater popularity of the NFL across the world.

“They’re just like american kids," said Brackett. "They want to have fun. They’re very green to the game of football so really teaching them football fundamentals and more importantly just having fun, engaging with their peers.

“In the next five to ten years, who knows there could be a team over here or more games on a regular basis over here because it’s a bunch of fans and they’re excited, and I think we have the greatest game on the planet so introducing it to Europe I think will be huge for the NFL.”

And while the game itself may still be gaining popularity, the familiarity with Colts personalities is already extending well beyond American borders.

“It's pretty much started since the airport in Minneapolis-- flew direct from Minneapolis and it’s, ‘Hey Dallas, are you going to the game?’ It’s kinda the only reason I’d go to London right now," said Clark. It’s amazing to see and sometimes you assume that they’re from Indy but they’re locals and that’s the crazy thing about it-- how local fans are recognizing you, which is kinda weird I guess to think, 'How do you know me, you live in London."
