TORONTO – A game away was a game lost for the Pacers, but his return helped to get a new streak going.
While his team wasn’t facing nearly the caliber of squad which they saw Thursday night in a home loss to the Clippers the Pacers were able to use their big man to beat the Raptors 93-81 Friday night at the Air Canada Centre.
Hibbert scored 18 points in 24 minutes of action while also collecting three rebounds as Indiana improved to 37-22 on the season and tie the Knicks for second place in the Eastern Conference.
It was Paul George, however, who helped the Pacers make sure they would pick up the game they lost on Thursday. The forward scored a team-high 22 points-18 of which came in the second half when the Pacers were able to finally pull away from Toronto-who beat Indiana in two games at Bankers Life Fieldhouse earlier this season.
