INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – From all the prep football action we saw Friday night across Central Indiana, two plays stood out above the rest. They are nominees for the FasTrack Mechanical Play of the Week, and your vote will determine the winner.

NOMINEE #1: RONCALLI REVERSE PASS

Starting the second half, Roncalli led Brebeuf 7-3, but faced a third and long on their first possession of the third quarter. The Rebels went to the bag of tricks to convert, as quarterback Derek O’Connor pitched the ball to Kenny Gillum who left it off for Conner Gore who then tossed it downfield to O’Connor for the first down. The drive ultimately resulted in a touchdown, as Roncalli went on to beat Brebeuf 14-6.

NOMINEE #2: WARREN CENTRAL’S DAVID BELL

The Warriors were running wild over Pike late in the first half, but more insurance is never a bad thing. Backed up deep in their own territory, Warren Central went to the air, as Zach Summeier lofted the ball deep and David Bell got underneath it. Bell shook off his defender and scampered 92 yards for the touchdown, as Warren went on to blow out Pike 66-14 at Victory Field.
