BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (December 12, 2015) –

Tonight finished off a streak of easy games for the Hoosiers. Indiana faced McNeese state, who came into Assembly Hall tonight, with an underwhelming 1-6 record, their only win coming against an NAIA program.

The Hoosiers easily took care of the Cowboys winning 105-60.

Sophomore guard James Blackmon Jr. led the Hoosiers with 24 points and 5 rebounds. Tonight was Blackmon’s third game this year with 20 points or more. Big man Thomas Bryant contributed 18 points and 9 rebounds. The Hoosiers improved to 8-3 on the season after their win over the Cowboys.

“I thought our guys played a really good game from start to finish. We had some really good runs offensively and defensively,” head coach Tom Crean said following the Hoosiers 8th win of the season.

“We moved the ball well and got good shots. We played fast and didn’t turn the ball over, we did a lot of good things tonight.”

Next Saturday Indiana is met with a much more intimidating opponent. The Hoosiers face the 6-2  Notre Dame fighting Irish in the crossroads classic at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
