MONROVIA, Ind. (August 25, 2016) – Monrovia’s Aaron Cravens takes the honors as the FasTrack Mechanical Play of the Week, as selected by the fans for the week of August 19.  The senior forced a fumble in the final minutes against Cardinal Ritter at Lucas Oil Stadium to secure the Bulldogs’ 18-17 win.

Monrovia found themselves protecting a one-point lead late in the fourth quarter with Ritter driving.  The Raiders threw the ball over the middle for what looked to be a solid gain, but Cravens came up huge, stripping the ball from the receiver as a Bulldog teammate fell on the loose ball.

The Bulldogs enter the season as the reigning class 2A champions.

Indy Sports Central presented Cravens with a plaque during the Bulldogs practice. Surrounded by his teammates, Cravens said he was just glad he could help his team defeat Ritter during his high school career.
