Paul George erupted for 27 second half points as the Eastern Conference seven-seed Pacers topped the two-seed Raptors in Toronto 100-90 in game one of their playoff series.
George (33 points) led four Pacers in double-figures, including Monta Ellis (15), Solomon Hill (13), George Hill (10), and Myles Turner (10). The Blue and Gold played a solid defensive game, holding the Raptors to just 38% shooting from the field (30-for-79) and 21% beyond the three-point arc (4-for-19). Both of those numbers are well below Toronto’s season averages of 45% from the field and 37% from three.
Indiana and Toronto will face off in game two of their seven-game series Monday, April 18 at 7:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast on NBA-TV.
