INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Pacers star Victor Oladipo will soon officially return to the court.
Oladipo plans to return on Jan. 29 against the Chicago Bulls at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The news was first reported by Stadium’s Shams Charania and later confirmed by Oladipo and the Pacers.
“It’s great to have a goal,” Oladipo said. “Great to have a set date that I can look forward to, especially after 12 months when you pretty much don’t know when you’re coming back.”
A special message from @VicOladipo.

The two-time NBA all-star has missed the last year with a torn quad tendon he suffered last January. During the rehab process, Oladipo says he learned a lot about how basketball fans in the state of Indiana appreciate him through their support.
“The way I play,” Oladipo explains, “going out there and putting on that jersey not only affects me and my family, it affects a lot of people. I never would have really understood that if I didn’t get hurt.
“I wish I could thank you all in 100 ways, but all I can say is thank you. I’m gonna show you how thankful I am in my play. I promise you that.”
