INDIANAPOLIS – All good things must come to an end.
Last week, high school football did across the State of Indiana nearly three months after it started at Lucas Oil Stadium. Twelve teams entered Lucas Oil Stadium with a chance to win a state championship but only six had the privilige to leave with the big trophy.
It was also the last opportunity for a high school player to win the McAlister’s SPUDtacular Play of the Week Award. All in all 16 winners were crowned during the 2014 season-but one has the distinction of closing out the season on top.
Tri-West’s Wesley Cook’s fourth quarter 59-yard touchdown run was one of four on the day but was the play voted by you the fans to be most SPUDtacular.
