A mix of sun and clouds expected for your Tuesday, as the dry weather holds for now. Another great day dialed in! Any rain chance looks extremely limited (10%) for the state and primarily for this evening. The strong ridge and surface high are slowly beginning to breakdown. This is allowing the increase in high to middle level clouds and eventually rain chances to move in.

Mild air still holds on Wednesday as our shower/storm chance begins to increase a touch more across the state. Although chances appear limited, a heavier downpour will be expected by late afternoon in some areas.

Thursday still shows the greatest potential of rainfall for the state and we could use it! We are entering our 8th straight day without any rain and things are beginning to dry out! No doubt, it’s been a great stretch but some rain is needed to help keep pace with our Spring season, along with aiding farmers for a solid growing season.
