Rain falling heavy in spots with temperatures hovering in the lower 50s this morning…we’ve had a few flashes of lightning but severe weather is NOT expected! Here is your rise and shine forecast:
Rain chances will taper off around lunch, as clouds begin to clear from west to east. In fact, rain is already clearing now in central Illinois.
Sunshine will build in this afternoon, as winds increase from the northwest at 15 to 20 mph, with gusts to 25. Temperatures will recover back into the mid-60s.
The weekend still looks pretty good and fairly stable with only a few spotty showers for Saturday and Sunday. Don’t cancel plans but have a back-up for those small shower delays. Cooler conditions are still indicated for next week by Wednesday!
