INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 15, 2016)--Good Monday afternoon. Temperatures were in the low 30s at 4 p.m. with a cloudy sky.

Local Vis Satellite

Overnight clouds will be with us with the possibility of dense fog, freezing fog or freezing drizzle with lows in the mid-20s. Visibility may drop below one mile in spots overnight.

As we go into Tuesday, we're tracking a low pressure system that will move to the south of Indy. Earlier model runs had a good chance of wintry mix across central Indiana but new runs have the system farther south. This means there is a lower probability of wintry mix in Indianapolis. Areas across southern Indiana have the best chance of seeing a rain/sleet/snow mix Tuesday morning through the afternoon.

That being said, Indy still has a small chance of seeing a light snow/rain mix. Hi-resolution models are more consistent though with bringing in freezing fog or light freezing drizzle early Tuesday.

RPM 4 km Precip Type

Highs Tuesday will be in the low 30s with another chance of light snow Wednesday. A nice warm up is coming as we go into the end of the week. We'll be dry Thursday with highs in the low 40s and near 60 degrees is expected on Friday. This will not be a record high but it will definitely feel like March. There will be a slight chance of rain with windy conditions. Winds may gust as high as 35 mph. --Danielle Dozier
